Full Job Description:
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify electrical damage or malfunctions. Utilize specialized diagnostic tools, including infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices, to assess vehicle conditions accurately. Perform test drives to evaluate the overall performance of vehicles. Execute necessary repairs to rectify identified issues, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. This includes both routine maintenance and complex repairs as required.
Diagnose electrical and software-related issues. This includes pinpointing small faults that may impair drive, performance, or safety, and devising effective solutions to rectify these problems. Repair vehicle computers that are challenging to replace, as well as implementing custom electrical solutions. Review work orders, communicate findings and repair plans with supervisors, and ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
Required: 2 years of experience as an Automotive Electrician or related job
