Full Job Description:

The position is responsible for managing sales activities including supervision of contracts, direct sales of our products across the Americas. Being also responsible for sourcing of meat product from the Latin America market, spearheading an organization's global sales efforts and driving revenue growth across international markets. Strong sales track record with the ability to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets – Sufficient knowledge of meat industry mandatory, must have expertise buying and selling from the meat industry (beef, chicken, pork, lamb, etc.) Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities concurrently with shifting time frames, and meet deadlines. Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow-through. Meet our revenue targets – should always be looking for international markets opportunities for Thomas Foods to make an impact and always be closing. Identify and secure new customers and suppliers directly. This requires the establishment of relationships with the key decision makers and influencers in the various organizations, understanding their current and products needs, and working to find the right Thomas Foods product for them. Identify opportunities for alternative go-to-market strategies and be able to defend them internally. Represent Thomas Foods at worldwide food show and events. Availability and willingness to travel as needed to customer and suppliers sites/meetings. Represent Thomas Foods at Food Shows around the world (Europe, Middle East, Asia and South America).

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s of Business Administration or similar + 24 months of experience as sales manager. Alternatively, the employer will accept 24 months of experience in business development or logistics within the meat import/export industry.
