Full Job Description:
Picks colors and mixes paint while using color matching for desired assignment. Creates, maintains, and uses painting documentation. Cover all exposed appliances and surfaces before painting. Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, caulking, priming, etc. Paint walls, surfaces, and cabinets according to instructions using brushes, spray guns, or paint rollers. Maintains safe work procedures by erecting scaffolds, ladders, and safety barriers in accordance with prescribed protocols. Communicate well with clients. Perform a thorough walkthrough with the client before the project and a thorough walk-through once it is complete. Cleans up paint area. Consists of picking up used tarps, scraping, removing tape, cleaning brushes used, cleaning spills, resealing paint cans, and cleaning paint buckets. Then, equipment/tools are stored in vehicles.
A High School Diploma and 1 year of experience are needed for this job opportunity.
