Full Job Description:
Diagnosing bile duct cancer usually begins with a visit to your doctor. The doctor will ask about your symptoms and do a physical exam.
If your GP suspects you have bile duct cancer, they may refer you to a specialist. The specialist will order tests and scans that can help make the diagnosis. You can also use
Fildena 150 if your doctor prescribes it for you.
Physical Examination
A physical examination is an important part of diagnosing bile duct cancer. It lets your doctor know about your symptoms, habits, family history, and other things that might help them make a diagnosis.
Your health provider may also order other tests to help identify bile duct cancer or discover how far the cancer has spread. These include blood tests, imaging exams of the liver and bile ducts, and a biopsy.
Blood tests can measure the levels of bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, and other liver functions. High ranks of these substances indicate that the bile duct isn't working properly, which can cause jaundice (yellowing skin and eyes whites).
Other blood tests look for carbohydrate antigen (CA) 19-9, a protein that can be overproduced by bile duct cancer cells. But a high CA 19-9 level doesn't mean you have bile duct cancer. It just indicates that you have a bile duct disease.
