Write and edit news stories from collected information; plan details such as framing, composition, camera movement, and sound for each shot; communicate to those on screen the movement needed for each shot in a way that takes are minimized; direct live broadcasts, recordings, and non-broadcast programming for public entertainment or education; coordinate the activities of writers, directors, and other personnel throughout the production process; supervise and coordinate the work of camera, lighting, design, and sound crews; confer with crew members to discuss details of production, such as photography, script, music, and sets; research production topics; review recordings to ensure conformance to production and broadcast standards; identify and approve equipment required for productions; establish pace of programs according to time requirements; conduct meetings with staff to discuss production progress and to ensure production objectives are attained; resolve personnel problems that arise during the production process by acting as liaisons between dissenting parties when necessary; perform management activities, such as budgeting, scheduling, planning, and marketing; cut and edit film or tape to integrate component parts into desired sequences.
Bachelors in Social media, Communication, Marketing or related degree & 6 months of experience required.
