Full Job Description:
Duties: Prepare patients for and assist dentists with dental treatments or procedures; instruct patients in postoperative instructions, oral hygiene, and other related topics; perform cleaning procedures on patients; fabricate dental appliances such as retainers, study casts, and temporary restorations; record treatment information, vital signs, and medical histories of patients; maintain inventory of, sterilize, and order necessary dental tools and equipment as needed; schedule patient appointments, take payments and complete insurance forms
Skills: Dental and medical knowledge; critical thinking, problem-solving, and active listening skills; manual dexterity for fabrication of dental appliances; familiarity with dental- and office-related computer applications
High School Diploma and 12 months of experience are required for this job opportunity.
