Full Job Description:
Customize insurance coverage programs for each customer; sell various types of insurance policies and packets to individuals or businesses on behalf of insurance companies; explain features, pros, and cons of health, dental, life, and other policies to customers; develop clientele by networking and generating contacts; work with prospective clients to determine their insurance needs, financial situation, physical condition, existing coverage, and other relevant information; ensure that all requirements for policies are fulfilled, including personal information, medical exams, and completion of forms; assist clients with filing claims, establishing payment methods, and renewing policies; utilize marketing strategies, social media, and other methods to generate leads and compete with other insurance sellers; meet sales goals and quotas to ensure the success of insurance company.
Special Skills: Customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and other software.
Required: High School Diploma, Health Insurance Agent License, and 6 months of experience
