Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Product Structure Tech Specialist 2 for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK for Boeing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides assistance to monitor quality processes and software tools that enforce specification, style and format of technical manuals. Assists with the planning, scheduling and delivery of Electronic Technical Manual/Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (ETM/IETM) using master schedules, customer requirements and the latest industry technologies. Assists in estimating technical manual proposals based on customer specifications and requirements. Monitors the quality of processes and products. Assist in planning, scheduling and coordinating the Technical Data development cycle and delivery. Ensures quality of technical manual deliverables. Works under general supervision.
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with Technical orders is required
XPP and ACM is required
Arbor Text Editor is required
Successfully completing training is a contingency for these assignments
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of Client process a plus
Technical publishing experience is preferred
XML and ACM
EDUCATION:
1 year Education/experience typically acquired through advanced accredited education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
7 am - 4 pm
9x80 Work Schedule
