Full Job Description:
Arrange transport of goods with shipping and freight companies, including determining methods, logistics, timing, and cost of deliveries; prepare invoices and other shipping documents; track delivery statuses and notify clients when deliveries are to occur; keep records of all goods shipped and received; prepare shipping manifests, export and import documentation, insurance coverage, and other necessary documents; supervise packing and loading of goods and inspect packing procedures to
ensure the safety of products; resolve shipping problems and arrange for repairs when necessary; inspect warehouses, equipment, and vehicles for organization, safety, security, and needed repairs; analyze shipping logistics for integration with other business systems, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency; analyze logistics changes for efficiency and financial impact; prepare budgets for logistics department.
High School & 2 years of experience are required.
