Full Job Description:
Actively participate in the design process through all phases and prepare relevant design
materials. Precisely document architectural plans, elevations, sections, enlargements, and
details for buildings and other infrastructure projects. Working with engineers to indicate
structural features and mechanical system arrangements. Coordinate between architects and
consultants to design an integrated building system that comply with the design intent.
Proficiently use BIM and parametric software to develop drawings from rough sketches and
specifications created by engineers and architects. Assist the senior architect and design lead
to specify building information and design features, including construction methods,
dimensions, materials, and finishes. Assist in the preparation of contract specifications and
preliminary cost estimates of the construction. Take field measurements and documents
existing conditions. Assist in the development of sustainable building design and support the
preparation of LEED related documents. Requires Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a
closely related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD; Rhino; Adobe Suite;
Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign; Proficiency in rendering software (Vray or Enscape);
Knowledge of parametric design software Grasshopper; Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Occasional local travel required to visit project sites; 5-10% international travel also required.
