Pre-Construction Manage, Griffin & Wilson Enterprises, Inc., West Palm Beach, FL. Must have Masters in Construction Management + 2yr exp in construction related field.

Perform quantity takeoff on construction drawings provided by general contractors for bidding using takeoff software prepare cost estimates for stucco material, labor, equipment, general conditions and overhead for residential and commercial projects including high-rise construction, mid-rise construction, residential, commercial and office buildings. Prepare competitive bid proposals and budgets for clients. Optimize job costs, overhead and profit to keep the bids competitive. Prepare scope description, provide value engineering alternates and qualify any special scope items. Evaluate construction specifications and drawings ensuring all details have been reviewed for. Manage multiple bids with tight deadlines communicate and follow up with general contractors and build a relationship in order to secure jobs. Provide clients/general contractors with all pre-construction needs for all awarded projects such as schedule of values, swing drop layouts (logistics of the project), control joint layouts, product data submittals, setting up each project within procore (project management software) to ensure smooth navigation of the job until the end of the project. Soliciting material & labor pricing with vendors and labor subcontractors, creating master purchase orders (material, equipment and labor) for all awarded projects create internal schedule of production organize and turn in pay requisitions for the general contractor monthly assist the project manager with requirements on a running job such as change order pricing, creating schedule of values for labor subcontractor, weekly invoices for labor subcontractor payment, reviewing design changes on new revisions in drawings and pricing accordingly. Occasional site visits and travel for meetings with clients for scope review and negotiations.
