Job Description:
• Collaborate with development and test teams to help automate a complex build and deployment system with Java,Kubernetes,Docker virtualization tool,AWS/Azure and Jenkins.
• As a DevOps thinker, bring development and IT ops processes, people and tools closer together - in order to increase the speed, efficiency and quality with which we deliver technical solutions for GVC brands.
• Take responsibility for test infrastructure including environments and software, liaising with teams such as DevOps and Support in areas such as CI/CD
• Design the deployment Pipeline, setup activities that support the transition of application and infrastructure services from development through to production.
• Provides DevOps thought leadership and mentoring in both advisory and delivery contexts, focusing on the requirements of Technology and 6.Business and how these are best served by continuous improvements to our delivery approach
• Coaching and guiding colleagues in the progression and development of their personal and technical skills
• Familiar with agile software development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM / Agile / Kanban)
• Ability to build mentor and train DevOps teams
• Ability to bring automation and cost optimization across Operation Lifecycle covering access management, Incident Management, Fulfilment request, Monitoring, alerts etc
• Resolves conflicts by demonstrating leadership and appropriate decision-making competencies.
• Good to have experience/certified in SAFE practice"
