Duties:
Creates and manages DSE Cassandra & Solr databases for a company or organization.
Must also install and configure the NO SQL database.
Must make sure that the databases are secure and that they function properly.
Must carry out constant testing and monitoring to make sure that the database is functioning as it should.
This often requires troubleshooting, so problem-solving skills are important.
Extensive experience with administering and providing support for NO SQL databases.
Advanced experience with DSE Cassandra &Solr (NO SQL) is usually necessary.
Document database schemas and models, including functions, tables, and stored procedures as well as data dictionaries.
Monitor databases and apply patches, execute scripts, and create backups to ensure access and the consistency of data. Support and maintain software to interface with databases.
Skills:
Overall 10+yrs of experience is Must & 3-5 years of working experience with No SQL data bases.
Candidate should have hands-on operational experience in managing large scale DSE Cassandra with Solr integration
Candidate should have working experience in setting up the Testing platform, running performance number, and recommending optimizations
Candidate should have experience with simulating and performing FMEA analysis C
andidate should be fluent in any one of the scripting language (Gatling, Python)
Candidate should have expertise in AWS and Kubernetes
Candidate should have experience in automating infra operations
Candidate should have experience with could infra frameworks like Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.
Education (if required) : BS/MS in computer science or equivalent AWS, Kubernetes certification is good to have
