TRISTAR is seeking several Senior Software Developers for our government customer in Crane, IN ( This position is remote)
Position Description:
Analyzing business and technical tasks, participating with a team of developers to solve issues, create solutions, provide support for resulting applications, and contribute expertise in a professional and collaborative work environment. Writes, tests, debugs, and documents software in C# and JavaScript languages.
Position Responsibilities:
Understand and interpret legacy code in Java and C#
Write new code that adheres to modern best practices and standards
Document code and engineering procedures
Assist in creation of user manuals and other technical documentation
Help to facilitate functional testing of software
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience
Experience with C# and JavaScript
MUST be a US Citizen
Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting
Education and Certifications:
BS in Information Security, Informatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field preferred
Industry certification required for IAT Level II in accordance with DoD 8570 (for example CompTIA Security+) - willing to obtain prior to start date
