TRISTAR is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst (Deltek Costpoint and IBM Cognos) for our Corporate Office in Bloomington, IN ( This position can be 100% remote with some travel to Bloomington, IN)
Position Description:
Provide Database and IT technical knowledge to support Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software (Deltek Costpoint) related to:
Project management, financial, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost revenue, procurement, material management, bills of material inventory management, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), fixed assets, government property, employee, labor, payroll, compensation, and personnel for end users within various departments
Monitor the health of the COTS software, document and analyze technical problems with the environment, collaborate with network administrator and other technical resources as needed to troubleshoot and ensure the proper operation and performance of the environment
Work with network administrator to formulate plans for patching and upgrades of the COTS software, while coordinating testing with the business users
Position Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of related work experience with Deltek Costpoint and IBM Cognos software
Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, project planning, project management, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
Possess skill with MS Office with advanced Excel skills
Advanced knowledge and experience with SQL code and scripting is required, including knowledge of middleware systems (such as COGNOS Business Intelligence) to generate reports complex in nature
Possess 4+ years of MS SQL development experience, following good design, coding standard, and performance best practices
Experience with Microsoft Windows 10
Ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting employment
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or IT related field
Special consideration will be considered for candidates possessing extensive experience with Deltek Costpoint
