TRISTAR is seeking an Electric Engineer for our Federal Government Contract located in Bedford, IN



Position Description:

Provide engineering support for the sustainment of Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRA), Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRA), and automated integration capability for AEA/EA-6B and EA-18G Aircraft, specifically for the ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System (TJS) Low Band Transmitter (LBT), Universal Exciter Upgrade (UEU), ALE-43, and Navy Repair Schedule NAVSUP
Participate with other government, civilian and military subject matter experts on various engineering tasks


Position Responsibilities:

Provide high-level electrical and systems engineering
Assistance to manufacturing processes, monitoring progress and effectiveness of evolving system products and processes, measuring specification compliance, technology verification, quality assurance and acceptance, and developmental/operational test and evaluation
Ensure the proper equipment, skills, personnel, facilities, and procedures are being developed in support of the reduction TOC of these systems
Daily execution of tasking related to the performance of Acquisition Engineering and In-Service Engineering Agent responsibilities in a joint service environment
Assists with maintaining cost, schedule, and performance elements related to an integrated master schedule and ensures attainment of programmatic objectives
Receives, understands, and executes tasking related to full lifecycle management of electronic warfare systems procured under rapid acquisition initiatives
Receives technical testing and engineering report data related to the support of these systems
Assists with financial, programmatic, and technical reports for program reviews and design reviews; promotes good communications internally among teams, team members, supervisors, and externally with customers
Provide engineering support to troubleshoot/diagnose system and test system issues
Work with the Fleet Support Team to address and isolate system deficiencies in response to Engineering Investigations (EIs) and in response to fleet trouble calls
Support system engineers and technicians to address testing issues and to facilitate test system repairs/updates required to effectively resolve system testing deficiencies
Provide support for Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and Fleet Support Team efforts


Position Requirement:

Must be a US Citizen
An active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one


Education and Certification:

Level 1 Bachelor's degree from accredited four year college/university
Level 2 Bachelor's degree from accredited four year college/university with four years of relevant experience
Level 3 Bachelor's degree from accredited four year college/university with eight years of relevant experience
Level 4 Bachelor's degree from accredited four year college/university with twelve years of relevant experience
