We are looking for a Sewing Machine Mechanic to work with a local manufacturing company. This is a unique opportunity for anyone with established skills and experience in this field. Sewing machine mechanics are responsible for repairing industrial and consumer sewing machines, die press machines, and related equipment. The most important qualification for the position is expertise relating to the technical and mechanical repair of sewing machines.
Sewing machines vary in the ways they should be repaired and maintained, so broad knowledge of how they work is essential. This mechanics repairs sewing machines, but they also perform routine maintenance so that they work well for a long period of time.
In some cases, advanced trouble shooting will require that special attachments be made. This is a mostly independent position, but candidates can also be expected to have to advise staff and other operators on how to clean and properly maintain their equipment.
This position is full time and can be expected to pay around $18 - $23/ Hour dependent on experience.
