Title Curative Associate
Act as a central point of contact between in-house counsel, local counsel and business units on cases with a title defect
Understand and review mortgage origination docs such as title policies, title commitments, etc.
Review/sign legal documents presented by counsel for accuracy in accordance to business records, county records, and title documents
Manage outside counsel to ensure proper case handling and reduce risk to Nationstar Mortgage
Frequent/constant communication with all pertinent parties associated with the curative effort
Develop and update status reports on all title issue cases
Additional duties as assigned
1-2 years of experience in title curative
3+ years of experience in foreclosure
