Overview:
TRISTAR is seeking a Logistician II for our government customer in Crane, IN
The Logistician will be responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance.
Position Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance
Prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support, and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped
Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment
Populate 1149’s for Maritime EW Managed System’s:
Complete RFI (Request for Issue) form to request part from supply
Complete special request authorization to utilize parts in systems.
Update applicable assets tracking spreadsheets managed by Supply Support Element
Follow up on requisition status and parts returns from ship/shore sites
Position Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
An active Secret Clearance Clearance or investigation in process is required
Education and Certification:
Minimum of High School diploma or 5 years professional experience in configuration management
