Job Title: Program Manager, Greater China Initiatives
Location: Pittsburgh, PA. Travel within China and internationally as needed.
Duties:
Oversee Greater China Initiatives operations to support the program initiatives. Organize Greater China Initiatives online and offline activities. Lead social media content and follower development. Work with other staff to implement projects and achieve the objectives of the foundation. Provide strong and timely support to the foundation to assure strategic oversight, planning, and management of the program. Develop, maintain, and expand strategic partnerships in Chinese government agencies. Initiate partnerships, cultivate networks, and deepen relationships with key stakeholders to effectively leverage resources. Develop communication and marketing materials to articulate program initiative. Identify and engage partners to scale initiative reach. Develop, distribute, and develop camp program at partner high schools and universities. Organize cultural experiences for students and play a role as a cultural consultant to help students adapt. Support high school enrollment and counseling for the Greater China Initiative education sector.
Requirements:
MASTER OF SOCIAL WORK OR EQUIVALENT. BROAD BASED KNOWLEDGE OF CHINA REQUIRED. EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND COMMAND OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, BOTH WRITTEN AND VERBAL; PROFESSIONAL PROFICIENCY IN MANDARIN PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED. BROAD INTELLECTUAL BACKGROUND WITH DEMONSTRATED LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES, BUSINESS SUCCESS AND AN INTEREST IN GLOBAL AFFAIRS. M-F, 40hrs/wk.
