Overview:

TRISTAR is seeking a Facility Space Planner/Designer for our government client in Crane, IN (West Gate Office)



Position Responsibilities:

The Space Designer will assist our government customer by providing research-based assessments of existing and proposed facility and furniture configuration in support of ongoing project planning. For each facility, he/she shall meet with both existing and future building/space occupants to identify space/facility goals and collect research data. The designer shall provide recommendations to our customer on space configuration and process modifications to address identified goals. Recommendations shall include high-level cost, schedule and priority data. In addition, the Space Designer will assist with strategic facility projects and concept studies. A report for each project, including a description of the project, proposed floor plan layouts, associated costs and timelines for completion will be required.



Position Requirements:

Professional oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate creative ability and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong time management skills
3+ years of Space Planning/Designing experience
Must be a US Citizen
An Active Secret Clearance is required or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting


Education and Certification:

Prefer a degree in Interior Design with experience in Corporate planning and design
