We are a fully-integrated supplier of manufacturing and engineering services providing modular assemblies and complex stampings for body-in-white, drive-train, interior and seating applications for the automotive industry. We are looking for a CAE Engineer to join our team at our Troy, MI location.

This position within our Engineering team will develop analysis models utilizing validation, simulation and optimization techniques to test automotive vehicle performance as it relates to safety.

To be successful you will need strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, Word and Power Point. Proficiency in CAD Tools and the ability to understand and make decisions using HyperMesh, Optistruct and Radioss software is essential.

Key position responsibilities include:

Understands the concept and usage of automotive components and subsystems.

Able to provide solid design analysis feedback to the design & engineering groups.

Ability to suggest design improvement ideas to ultimately enhance vehicle/design performance.

Understand the basic ISO/TS-16949 procedures.

Responsible to work effectively with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.


Bachelor's degree (BS) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
