CDL Garbage Truck Drivers - $45,000/YEAR
Location: Sterling Heights, Michigan USA
SUMMARY: A residential Garbage Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial truck to provide prompt pick-up. Your main duties are collection of household residential curbside waste & recycling. Drive half the time and throw half the time, all while keeping in shape (usually changing duties every hour).
JOB DUTIES:
Collection of household residential curbside waste and recycle
Completion of assigned daily routes in a safe and efficient manner
Operate a 5 tonne garbage truck
Performs pre and post-trip inspections
Must complete paperwork and submit daily
REQUIREMENTS:
CDL A or B with air brake endorsement
Good physical condition (able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Steel-toed Safety Boots required
