Full Job Description:
Contract : 4 + months
Shift : 8 am to 5 pm. M-F.
Responsibilities:
• Creates Engineering Drawings
• Item Master and Bill of Material Creation and Maintenance
• Prioritizes Daily Work of Designers
• Maintains Design Standards
• Provides Engineering Support to Manufacturing
• Creates Purchasing Specifications
• Manages Engineering Projects
• Lean Process Support
• Special Projects as Assigned by the Engineering Manager
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3 years of experience as a design engineer for a manufacturing company
• Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, and Autodesk Vault
• Experience with an MRP/ERP system such as Navision
• Experience with ISO 9001 in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be willing to travel (<10%)
