Roles/Responsibilities:
Promote safety awareness and safe performance during execution of work.
Oversee and conduct quality assurance and control activities to verify that construction, installation, hookup & commissioning activities of the offshore facilities are being undertaken in accordance with the contract requirements, specifications and international codes & standards.
Perform audit and study to promote quality continuous improvement and rectify the weakness encountered in contractors and vendors’ quality plan and program
Review and approval of contractors and vendors’ inspection and quality procedures.
Perform quality audits of contractors and vendors’, reports non-conformances and follow-up corrective action and close-out.
Verify all contractors and vendors’ inspection work has been conducted to the designed quality as given by the COMPANY specifications and drawings.
Monitor and maintain all necessary records of the inspection work and directs and assist in compiling final documentation and as built drawings.
Review contractors and vendors’ inspection reports and it shall be in an accurate and concise manner.
Ensuring that all quality records are progressively collated, accurate, fully traceable to the work and auditable.

Skills and Qualification:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering
Technical certification preferred (e.g., AWS, CSWIP, API, NACE, etc)
Should have at least a tertiary degree from a reputable university.
Must have at least 10 years of experience of which 8 years must be spent in an upstream offshore oil & gas environment and held supervisory positions within the QA/QC functions.
Must be experienced in the areas related to engineering, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation and hook-up and commissioning of offshore oil & gas production and processing facilities.
Brownfield experience is essential.
Candidate without a tertiary degree but with a diploma from a reputable college and with greater than 10years of experience in an upstream offshore oil & gas environment and held supervisory positions within the QA/QC functions is also acceptable. Again, Brownfield experience is essential.
Good knowledge of international standards for offshore such as AWS, API, ASME, ASTM, etc applicable to construction, installation, hook-up & commissioning of Oil & Gas facilities.
