This an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic freight forwarding company which continues to grow and remain as an industry leader in 3PL logistics.
This company is currently seeking an experienced transportation Freight Broker / Sales Associate to join the team. You will be responsible to help move freight from one point to another. You should have a pipeline of customers and continue to grow your base through various sales strategies. Using ethics, integrity, and creativity, you will continue to develop new and foster old relationships in a positive manner. We are seeking applicants with experience in a logistics / sales role in 3PL and possess phenomenal customer service / interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years logistics broker/sales experience in a 3 PL
Proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn proprietary systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to think outside-the-box
Strong attention to detail
College Diploma preferred
Second language a definite asset
Responsibilities:
Building relationships with new and old clients
Understanding and determining best practices in freight forwarding
Completing end-to-end freight sales
Compensation:
A negotiable draw on merit-based pay / uncapped earnings
