Senior Project Manager (full time) – Advanced Cell Diagnostics, Inc., Newark, CA
Manage a team of technicians, specialists, and scientists; Supervise the Project Lead in order to manage pipeline of PAS projects to meet deadlines and goals for turnaround time; Provide accurate forecasts to meet quarterly and yearly revenue targets, and set intermediate revenue targets; Establish priorities within the team for driving project execution; Assign projects to the team as needed, together with the Project Lead; Coordinate the PAS process to ensure materials are available for project execution, and to coordinate shared resources between departments; Participate in teleconference meetings with industry, pharmaceutical, and academic clients in order to execute assay service projects. Requires Master’s degree in Molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related. 18 months experience as Research Coordinator or Research Associate. Skills required: Project execution and accurate forecasting ability for project delivery timelines in CRO-based work environment; Customer-facing experience including presenting status reports and delivering results to clients in teleconferences; Knowledge of tissue morphology differences such as primary tissues, cell lines, xenografts; Technical background and molecular biology experience in order to troubleshoot assays.
