Position Description:
•Develop and implement initial Intellectual Asset Protection Program for CET in Partnership with CET IAM
·Work with Law and CET to evaluate and develop classifications and methods of protecting CET information Work with CET IAM to revise key word database as needed
·Develop training and education processes and protocols to improve Information Protection and Communications awareness and compliance
Day to Day Responsibilities:

Work with CLC and translation vendors to produce training
Determine appropriate groups (CET, MT&E, etc.) that will require training to deal with CET information
Monitor and report on training compliance

IAP Incident coordination
Lead and document DLP/IP incidents and investigations

Coordinate efforts to investigate and resolve escalated situations o Liaison between local IAP team, division and corporate IA, HR, security and legal resources as needed.
Develop remediation plans, follow up on actions, draft, communicate, and file final reports, including incident reporting for business (by plant)

Benchmark and incorporate best practices & GIS established process

Working with the appropriate teams, recommend, develop and deploy IP processes & SOPs to include:  NDAs  TLS links  USB approvals and change requests
Develop goals, measure improvement and report on progress

Build a matrixed team at various plant locations to ensure effective and complete global deployment
Analyze cost of compliance (and non-compliance)
Critical supplier management process lead

Update critical supplier list annually based on input from engineering leaders and GSM o Review GSM supplier IAP policies annually and incrementally improve

IA interface with GSM for sourcing and supplier information security

Travel Requirements: You can expect less than 25% travel.

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: Your typical work schedule will be 8-5pm M-F although you should expect to have flexibility to support project assignments including overtime.
Required Education and Experience:

You should have a BS degree in technical field (Engineering degree preferred) with 5+ years of experience and:
• Experience developing global processes
• Experience leading matrixed teams
• Experience in research, development, technology or engineering with IP

• Strong communication skills; able to develop and deploy concise and interesting training programs

• Leadership presence and ability to work closely with plant and functional leaders across CET and influence strategy

• Able to work closely with HR and security to conduct thorough investigations involving the correct stakeholders and document
Desired skills:
• Knowledge of CET practices
