DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Applies Multiple Intelligences theory in classroom practice
Oversees and participates in the designing, creating, and assessing of innovative activities
and enhancing our existing curriculum
Creates and maintains a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for chil dren
Updates parents about their childs experience at school in writing and i n person
Contributes to the overall success of the school, including participates in at lea st one after
school activity and other marketing events
Adheres to * Group pol icies and procedures
Oversees and maintains the observation, assessment and recording of th e students growth
and development throu ghout the entire school year
Provides and maintains measures that will ensure child safety and welfare during school
hours
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education, Training and Experience
Degree in Education from a recognized university, early child hood prefe rred
2 years of experience as a lead teacher in a kind ergarten
Native English speaker
Special education training p referred, but not required
Understanding of Multiple Intelligences theory ( to be provided by The * Group)
