Our company has an immediate opening for a Quality Manager. We are looking for an aggressive self-starter who has demonstrated success in spearheading continuous improvement efforts in automotive quality and manufacturing processes. The preferred candidate will be experienced in high volume repetitive manufacturing processes, preferably in the metal forming and welded assemblies industry. A working knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements is highly desirable.
JOB SUMMARY
Plans coordinates, and directs quality programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as they relate to an essential function of the job.
Develops and analyzes data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
Formulates and maintains quality objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other department managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities related to product quality and reliability.
Investigates and resolves customer complaints regarding quality.
