General Requirement

SUPPORTS THE DATA GATHERING AND DEVELOP OF DOCUMENTATION TO PROVIDE VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT AT THE SYSTEM LEVEL. PERFORMS HARDENING OF SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH DISA APPROVED SECURITY TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION GUIDES.


Essential Functions
• Assess and documents information security risk of applied and unapplied STIGs, IAVAs, IAVBs, and IAVTs to systems and subsystems.
• Certifies correct application of STIGs, IAVAs, IAVBs, and IAVTs via the chain of command to the project’s Designated Approving Authority (DAA).
• Authors a variety of information security documents in accordance with DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Serves as an information security subject matter expert and as a technical interface with customers and other external organizations.

Requirements
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting

Education and/or Experience
• BS in Information Security, Informatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• Industry certifications required for an IAT Level II in accordance with DoD 8570 minimum, prefer Industry certification required for an IAT Level III or IAM Level II in accordance with DoD 8570
• 2-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
