Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Princeton Junction, NJ. Travel to client sites may be required.
Duties: Works with technology and application development teams to design or select solutions that meet the business needs for large projects. Assists, and at times, may lead clients and technical staff to investigate, analyze, and resolve application problems related to system functions. Interfaces with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work. Assists the business line with requirements and working with the application development team to create a functional architecture. Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the business's current technology and infrastructure from a functional perspective. Provides guidance concerning business implications of development projects. Participates in testing, training, and implementation of applications. Serves as consultant to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results. Reviews and validates test plan approaches for proper functionality coverage.
Requirements: Masters of Computer Application, related field or equivalent plus minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Business Analyst. Experience must include analysis and evaluation of user business problems and develop recommendations to meet requirements; developing user stories, use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, business rules, test plans and test cases; conducting JAD sessions; writing SQL queries; conducting feasibility analysis for automation of the report; creating and maintaining requirements traceability matrix.; GAP analysis Strong technical skills including MS Visio, UML, Balsamaiq, Microsoft Visual Studios, Cognos, VB.Net, MS SQL Server, XML Services, Selenium. Must hold certification in MCP SQL Server. M-F, 40hrs/wk.
