HR Specialist (MID)
General Requirement
PROVIDE ACADEMIC PROGRAM SUPPORT TO INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) COHORT PROGRAMS, PHD PROGRAMS, ACADEMIC TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY OUR GOVERNMENT CUSTOMER. THIS POSITION WILL BE THE PRIMARY POC FOR OUR CUSTOMER’S MENTORING PROGRAM. TRAVEL WILL BE REQUIRED TO IN-STATE UNIVERSITIES OR COLLEGES IN ORDER TO PREPARE, REVIEW, AND ANALYZE LOGISTIC SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION TO ENSURE ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION IS IN PLACE AND ALL DATA REQUIREMENTS ARE MET IN SUPPORT OF ALL GOVERNMENT CUSTOMER ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

Essential Functions
• Review, analyze, and evaluate all program management data to include course evaluations or surveys, customer feedback, course satisfaction and effectiveness feedback, etc.
• Through analysis perform special studies and analysis in all areas of training and education programs and compile metrics and reports as needed
• Active involvement in yearly Tuition Assistance data call and be able to make independent recommendations on how to improve the data collection methods.
• Receive queries via phone calls and or email then performing research of the various training and education repositories for resolution.
• May be required to travel to local colleges and/or universities to assist with setting up new cohort programs and/or meeting with professors and’/or administration to discuss changes to current programs.
• BENCHMARKING OF OTHER GOVERNMENT AND NON-GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS TO BE ABLE TO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO IMPROVE THE CURRENT MENTORING PROGRAM. THIS WILL INCLUDE WORKING WITH EMPLOYEES TO ENSURE THEY RECEIVE THE APPROPRIATE MENTOR.
Requirements
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelors in related education or training field PLUS 5-7 years’ experience in a training environment
• Comprehensive Microsoft Office 2010 Applications: Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook
• SharePoint knowledge base
• Experience with TWMS, N-ERP
• Excellent communication and people skills
• KNOWLEDGE OF NSWC CRANE ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
