Senior Associate FE Developer, React.JS
Location - Minneapolis
Skill and Role Summary:
Main duties and responsibilities: We are looking for Sr. Developer with prior project experience in React.
Primary focus will be on developing components using React ecosystem. Considering we are going to have a distributed team, and a fast pace project, the communication and collaboration is the key.
We will have all the tools like Slack in place, but the expectation is definitely to be self- driven with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
• Develop reusable responsive components using React, Redux, HTML5 and CSS3
• Enhance/extend existing components for different portal/brands
• Optimize core framework to support new features
Skills (Must have)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML5 and CSS3
• Very good understanding of React Concepts
o Component Life cycle
o Component Driven Development
o Stateful vs Stateless components
• Experience with using REST APIs with React Components (promise, fetch etc.)
• Knowledge of latest JavaScript specs / ES6+
• Good grasp of responsive development (using any grid/responsive library e.g. Bootstrap)
• Experience with unit testing framework (Karma, Mocha, Chai / Jest etc.)
• Familiarity with common front-end development tools such Webpack, NPM, Git etc.
Skills (Good to have)
• Experience with state management library (e.g. Redux)
• Knowledge of integrating React with AEM or any other CMS
