1. PurushottamLaxmanDeshpande
Every list of Marathi writers is incomplete without this great author. Popularly known as (“Puâ€. “Laâ€. “Despandeâ€) he was a famous Marathi humourist as well as a well-known writer from Maharashtra. He was also awarded Maharashtra Bhushan Award in the year 1996.
