The Program Specialist I/Child Support Specialist
-- assists in implementation of federally mandated program to maximize child support collections and serves as main source of Oklahoma child support services client interface;
-- serves as point of contact and problem resolution for Oklahoma non-custodial parents new to child support on all topics, processes, and procedures related to child support services;
-- manages caseloads and plans, coordinates and monitors contact with child support case workers and parents/child custodians on child support cases;
-- conducts outreach activities and provides education and referrals to non-custodial parents who are new to child support services;
-- monitors compliance with delinquent child support cases and processes information requests from parents/child custodians and case workers;
-- researches, analyzes and modifies database records; collects data for quality control and program evaluation;
-- must be able to value others, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, establish and maintain professional internal and external relationships, and demonstrate high integrity;
-- performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience: Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education/job related experience.
12 months professional experience with child support OR public outreach services OR customer service in a call center environment.
Salary: $25,000-$26,5000 + benefits
