Summary Description:
IT Project Manager to join the IT PMO to work primarily in Energy Supply IT – Trading Solutions. The IT PMO is a centralized organization that sources project managers for all areas of IT. Currently the Energy Supply IT division is in need of a Project Manager to implement a consistent enterprise position management and tracking platform for Power Trading, Renewable Energy Credits and Emissions.

Responsibilities Include:
1. Execution of Project Management processes and deliverables
a. Project planning activities to include: documenting scope, developing a detailed project budget and schedule, and defining required project resources
b. Manage the project work plan to ensure that defined project milestones are achieved and tasks are completed as planned
c. Ensure all project measures of success are achieved
d. Analyze and control proposed changes to the project plan or cost estimate; Execute appropriate Change Control processes as necessary
e. Anticipate, document, and monitor project issues and risk
f. Manage project financials to include tracking actual and forecasting remaining spend on a monthly basis
g. Ensure development and maintenance of appropriate project documentation and records of assumptions, important events, decisions, actions, or problems
2. Bi-Weekly status reporting to the IT PMO
3. Manage sponsor expectations and ensures that project requirements are documented and achieved; maintains status updates to project sponsors as defined by current team practices
4. Manage a team of matrixed resources across IT and business support groups
