Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Sr. Manager, Creative Services Creates cutting-edge designs for our marketing materials while collaborating and mentoring other designers on the team. Creates presentations to present creative concepts to clients. Utilizes graphic design technology and computer software packages to produce materials for promotions, packaging and informative and instructional materials. Originates art and copy layouts and determines style, size and arrangement of type and illustrations. Works collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. Essential Functions: Works closely with management to create compelling designs for our marketing collateral. Applies knowledge of layout, typography and style sheets within designs. Creates campaigns with consistent look, feel and tone from creative concepting to final production. Collaborates and mentors other designers on the team through art direction as well as by helping the team focus on current trends. Presents and sells ideas, designs and concepts to internal business partners. Prepares and sets up files for final output for commercial printers to include proper use of bleeds, folds, panel sizes and gutters. Meets multiple deadlines concurrently while maintaining quality control on your assigned work Performs other duties as assigned Education/Experience: An Associate's Degree in graphic design, art production or related field. A Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, client-driven design environment (agency, corporate or internal creative services department). Experience in print and pre-press production environment. Special Skills (e.g. 2nd language): Strong presentation skills to presents concepts to business partners Ability to produce high-end design in an extremely high-paced, deadline-driven environment Detail oriented with clear understanding of overall objectives Ability to work under pressure and keep track of details on multiple projects within a tight deadline environment High attention to detail and ownership of work Ability to interact with people at all levels internally Ability to demonstrative creative thinking for design layout and art work Computer Skills: Advanced Macintosh computer skills with the following programs: Quark press, In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
