IT QA/Data Analyst - Cancer Registry Professional
Our client is a software engineering firm specializing in IT solutions for the healthcare industry with a focus on data collection systems and data processing applications for cancer research and prevention. They are seeking an IT Quality Assurance Tester/Data Analyst with experience with cancer registry to join their AI development team to test performance of their knowledge based software products. This is a full time permanent position.
The ideal candidate will have experience and training in cancer registry operations, knowledge of case abstracting, cancer coding and staging, cancer checklists, and collaborative staging.
Preferably, you are a certified tumor registrar or a cancer registry professional or (must have) have strong experience with either, have complete working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, and have basic statistics/math skills. Exposure to database technology and/or programming would be a definite asset. Any experience with coding systems ICD-0-3 and or SNOMED would be an asset.
