Systems Engineer IV JD

Lead role in the definition, architecture, pricing, marketing, proposal, and development of technologically advanced SIGINT, ELINT, COMINT, IMINT, or MASINT systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include requirements identification; architectural trades; pricing/schedule strategies and estimates; technical presentations, whitepapers, and proposals; and related interaction with company leadership and customer organizations.

Assigned tasks will require the application of creative engineering and business development solutions and innovative engineering techniques in addition to standard engineering practices and defined processes.

Position includes interaction with company leadership and with customer leadership, technical, and management personnel.

Requirements BS required. MS desired - or equivalent years of relevant experience.

This position requires a minimum of 10 years experience in architecting, developing, and delivering SIGINT, ELINT, COMINT, IMINT, or MASINT systems.

Experience in all phases of design lifecycle management to include: Definition, Architecture, Requirements, Design, Integration, Test, and Sustainment is also required.

The candidate must have contacts and recent experience with complex sales, marketing, and business development for a first-tier or second-tier supplier of SIGINT, COMINT, IMINT, or MASINT systems.

It is expected that a successful candidate for this position has a minimum of 5 years experience is supporting or accomplishing marketing activities.

Qualifications for this position include understanding of top-level customer requirements, architectural considerations, and cost/schedule/performance tradeoffs for SIGINT, ELINT, COMINT, IMINT, or MASINT systems.

A successful candidate must have the capability to organize, plan, implement, and evaluate engineering activities across multiple engineering disciplines as required for complex proposals and R&D projects associated with SIGINT, COMINT, IMINT, or MASINT systems.

Experience in assessing engineering trades and directing methods of resolution for complex engineering problems is also required. Current understanding of, and contacts within, SIGINT, ELINT, COMINT, IMINT, or MASINT customers are required.

Leadership skills and management expertise are required.

Excellent communication skills including written, presentation and verbal capabilities. Examples will be required during interviewing process.

Candidates must be able to obtain the relevant DoD security clearance.

Position requires travel.
