Full Job Description:
• Lead system engineer offering support in the development, testing, modification, installation, documentation, and management of control system computer software which is relative to the desired functionality of said software, applicable to the hardware administration, maintenance, and disaster recovery support needed on shipboard systems, and accompanying land based support facilities.
Essential Functions
• Able to act as lead engineer with the industry
• Able to troubleshoot hardware/software systems
• Able to read electrical schematics
Requirements
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting
Education and/or Experience
• Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program.
• Target Experience:
• Five (5) years of professional experience within industry as a systems, electrical, and/or electronics engineer
• Two (2) years of professional experience within industry acting as a lead engineer
• Three (3) years of professional experience troubleshooting hardware/software systems
• One (1) year of professional experience reading electrical schematics
• One (1) year of professional experience troubleshooting network based systems
Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
